Operation KIDLEARN:  Pope John Paul II Catholic School offers KIDLEARN to provide additional opportunities for growth outside the regular school day.

Operation KIDLEARN:  Academic Success

·         What:  Before school academic assistance for children provided by volunteers under the supervision of school personnel

·         When: daily beginning at 8:30 AM

o   Elementary Level:  Grades K-4 offered 2 mornings/week

o   Middle School Level:  Grades 5-8 offered 3 mornings/week

·         Should your child’s teacher recommend that your child participate in KIDLEARN, it is an indication that additional assistance is needed and the school is willing to provide it. It is the responsibility of the parent to provide the transportation to and from KIDLEARN and work
with the child to understand the importance of taking initiative in accepting the help offered. We are offering free KIDSTOP this year specifically so parents have a window of opportunity from 7:30 AM-day’s beginning to get their child(ren) for additional assistance if it
is needed. It is an important life skill to seek assistance when it is needed and this skill needs to be taught both at home and at school.

·         Transportation:  Is the responsibility of the family
